FOREST TOWN SCHOOL – Bridge
The Bridge Department has been developed to assist learners who are not meeting the promotion criteria in the Academic section, but who could do so, with additional help and time. Our goal is to facilitate the movement of learners who have the potential to cope in an academic setting, from Modified to Academic Foundation Phase or Academic Intersen. Each class in Bridge will follow the full CAPs curriculum and each learner will have an Indivdualised Educational Programme (IEP) which will aim to address the specific educational needs of that learner. The focus is to close the educational gaps which exist for each learner.
